Opening an account on EduBlocks is free, and here is your step-by-step guide how to that.
Step 1: Navigate to the EduBlocks Website
Begin by visiting the EduBlocks website (https://app.edublocks.org/) to initiate the account creation process. EduBlocks is a free tool by Anaconda that helps anyone learn how to code with text-based languages like Python or HTML using a familiar drag-and-drop blocks system
Step 2: Click on "Register"
Look for the "Register" button on the top right, and click on it. This will lead you to the account creation page where you can set up your child's EduBlocks account.
Step 3: Fill in the Registration Form
You'll be prompted to fill in a registration form. Provide a unique username for your child; this will be their identity on the EduBlocks platform. Provide your email and a password to ensure the security of the account.
Click "Register for Free" to complete the registration process.
Step 4: Join our Classroom!
Go to Classrooms section, and click "Join Classroom".
Enter the 4-letter classroom code that you received via email for the Python course you enrolled with us.
Then, click "Join".
That's it - you are all set!
All the projects we create during our Python coding adventures will remain in your child's account, forever.
During the course, you will also see Assignments given to your child for more practice.
Coding on Your Own?
If you are not enrolled in one of our Python courses, then you cannot join our course's Classroom. However, you can explore the platform at your own pace! Your child can try to do some short tutorials on the platform's website, and make their first steps in Python or HTML!
